Distance of Lahore to Major Cities of Pakistan

Lahore is the 2nd largest city of Pakistan with a population of more than 11 million. It is the heart of Pakistan and a very famous and old city. Moreover, Lahori foods are very popular all around the world and people visit Lahore to taste Lahori foods. Being the 2nd largest city of Pakistan and the economic hub of Punjab, many people migrate from rural and remote areas to earn a better livelihood. Distance of Lahore from Karachi

The distance of Lahore from Karachi is about 1,210 kilometres via Sukkur-Multan Motorway/M-5. The distance via National Highway (N5) varies from Motorway M-5. Via N5, the distance of Karachi from Lahore is nearly about 1,275 kilometres.

Reach Time

The reach time from Lahore to Karachi via Motorway M-5 is nearly about 14 hours.

Distance of Lahore from Quetta

Quetta is the capital city of Balochistan. It is about 962 kilometres from Lahore via N-70. The other routes that lead to Quetta is the Sukkur-Multan Motorway/M5 and the distance is about 1,156 kilometres and via N-50, the distance is about 982 km.

Reach Time

The reach time to Quetta from Lahore via N-70 is about 13 hours. Via Motorway M-5, it usually takes 14 hours and nearly 15 hours from N-50.

Distance of Lahore from Islamabad

Islamabad is the capital city of Pakistan and is on the 2nd number in the list of most beautiful capitals in the world. Islamabad is located in Potohar Plateau. There are two common routes that can lead to Islamabad from Lahore. Via Motorway M-2, Islamabad is about 378 kilometres from Lahore. The other route is via Grand Trunk Road or GT Road that is about 310 kilometres. 

Reach Time

Via GT road, reaching Islamabad usually takes nearly 6 hours and via Motorway M-5, this time is reduced to 4 hours.

Distance of Lahore from Peshawar

The capital of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is Peshawar and it is known as the city of flowers. The distance of Peshwar from Lahore via GT road is about 469 kilometres. Via Motorway M-2 and M-1, Peshawar is almost 517 kilometres far from Lahore.

Reach Time

It takes about 6 hours to reach Peshawar via Motorway and almost 9 hours through GT road.

Distance of Lahore from Multan

Multan is a historical city and is known as the city of saints. To reach Multan from Lahore, there are two main routes. One is via Abdul Hakeem Motorway/M-3 that is 337 km long and the other one is the Multan road or National Highway (N5) and is 354 kilometres. 

Reach Time

It takes about 4 hours to reach Multan from Lahore via Abdul Hakeem Motorway and about 6 hours from National Highway.

Distance of Lahore from Faisalabad

Faisalabad is the Manchester and 3rd largest city of Pakistan. It is famous for its textiles and is the biggest textile city in Pakistan. From Lahore, Faisalabad is not very far. It is about 181 kilometres via M-2 Motorway and 145 kilometres from Abdul Hakeem M-3 Motorway and Lahore-Sheikhupura-Faisalabad road.

Earlier, Faisalabad’s name was Lyallpur which was later changed to Faisalabad.

Reach Time

It takes almost 2.5 hours to reach Faisalabad from Lahore via M-2 Motorway. While the Abdul Hakeem Motorway with Sheikhupura road distance takes a minimum of 3 hours to reach Faisalabad.

Distance of Lahore from Sialkot

Sialkot is a world-renown city that produces nearly 70% of the world’s football. According to an estimate, nearly 40 to 60 million footballs are produced every year in this small city. From Lahore, Sialkot is about 140 kilometres via Lahore-Sialkot Motorway (M-11). Via National Highway (N5) it is 130 kilometres from Lahore.

Moreover, the city is known as the city of Iqbal because it is the birthland of Allama Iqbal.

Reach Time

Via Motorway, it takes only 2 hours to reach Sialkot from Lahore but from National Highway, a minimum of 3 hours will allow you to reach Sialkot.

Distance of Lahore from Gujranwala

Gujranwala is one of the famous and oldest cities of Pakistan. Other than Lahore, the people of Gujranwala love to eat delicious foods and this city is very popular for its unique taste. It is an industrial city and is about 80 kilometres from Lahore.

Furthermore, Gujranwala is also known as the city of wrestlers.

Reach Time

Gujranwala is not far from Lahore. It just takes 2 hours 20 minutes to reach Gujranwala via National Highway (N5).

Distance of Lahore from Hyderabad

The eighth-largest city of Pakistan is Hyderabad. Hyderabad is located in Sindh and is one of the oldest cities of Pakistan. It can be reached via Sukkur-Multan Motorway M-5 and the distance of Hyderabad from Lahore via M-5 is about 1,045 kilometres.

Reach Time

It takes about 12.5 hours to reach Hyderabad via Sukkur-Multan Motorway.

Distance of Lahore from Rawalpindi

Rawalpindi is located near the capital territory of Islamabad. Islamabad and Rawalpindi are known as twin cities. The General Headquarters are located in Rawalpindi and this is also a reason for the popularity of Pindi. It is about 359 kilometres far via Lahore-Islamabad Motorway and 305 kilometres from Grand Trunk Road.

Reach Time

Via Motorway M-2, it takes 4.5 hours to reach Rawalpindi and 6 hours through GT road.
